Well Legacy is too affected by this. It's not like they are banning counters. It's more about the future of counters and the Standard environment.

I like angels. Otherwise I'll have to play a bit to have a more constructed opinion. So far, it looks pretty balanced and standard for a set, minus all the controversy regarding Cavern of Souls.

Well, MTG is biased. The power level of angels in general is way higher than demons.
