well if you want to be a farmer in real life, come to where i live, in every direction is farmland where they grow actual crops. though sad news is due to droughlike weather they didnt grow so well this summer, poor neighbors.


and fyi fargone, farming profession, was mostly what built countries, granted most of them was into force slavery to do this, cause remember, if you didnt grow your food, you die.

Hah, at least i worked on my uncle's farm as a kid. People that play farmville on facebook should probably be put on a real farm to see it's not fun at all. >_>

If i were to have a farm, i wish i had some robots do the work, since i don't wanna pay workers and can't be bothered to work that much myself.

This sounds related to stories i hear about africa's current situation.

Cape Verde or something like that for example has some german investors that help them build irrigation and such. They don't pay them more than food and clothing, but let's be serious, if you got nothing, you'll be happy even with a minimum.

My father was a farmer.. then became a machinist. He still misses doing both.

Which makes me ponder, if he wasn't that old anymore he'd be happily doing both.
