Okay here is new version thanks for you guys help so far

Here is a deck I have been working on. The deck seems to be doing pretty decent in battle.However it does seem to be lacking in a few areas.Since i have very limited cards due to being a free player and starting at the end of set 10.

Any advice you could give to file would be appreciated

Personally, I would use Faytis as second soul, as that Rasam will go off very quickly, probably not hitting anything too worthwhile. Since I have no idea what kind of grimoires you have, I won't comment there.

Imo in this situation jewel is far better than defective. But you probably don't need either, just shade spam instead!

Mermaid warrior isn't that great. It's so average it can be replaced with many other average units or even better ones very easy. What other options do you got? I would try a sorceress monk instead.

Do you really need sylph? What is it supposed to speed up?


Also it has nothing to raise the falkow - lawtia sphere levels easier, which means it's costly.
Your SP generating spells are in falkow and you probably open up with defective ... Either replace them with soul pact or have a jewel open of some sort.

saw one of your games, i think part of the problem is how u play it.

1. stop spamming undines so as to keep some loose sp for skills
2. use anna's skill to kill instead of the normal way, the file bane is strong
3. dion's return is limited by range, but i guess u learned that the hard way =p

as for the file itself, i was thinking, not replace dion with a couple chaos absorptions?

I still wonder why you need 2 undines. 1 seems enough.

There isn't a clear theme to this deck. Cards like Dion and return go for different goals than do things like death embrace and bitter destiny. Like if you use Dion in a file the ultimate goal is SP advantage and field control, which cards like death embrace and bitter destiny do NOT support at all. Conversely, those lawtia cards and SP drain stuff works MUCH better than an aggro heavy approach.

I agree, there's not good synergy. I see some Returns, I see some file destruction, and I see some SP Drain. File Destruction doesn't work too well with Returns since File Destruction is slow and Return doesn't delay the opponent enough. In addition, File Destruction units aren't strong enough to be a threat to opposing units, so you'll be sacrificing field presence and not have strong units to overwhelm the opponent.

So I'll leave this up to you. Do you want File Destruction? Do you want control through return? Or do you want SP Drain. You gotta focus more on one rather than try to do all three.

Or play for now the file as it is and switch out the seemingly useless cards.
Don't just edit the same deck. Create variations of it.

Personally would have picked overdose over chaos thingy.
Also don't like death embrace.


Deck destruction is nice but I think you should rather focus on a divide (return) and conquer (hiters) tactic.
