I personally think that Talisman Mystic is balanced enough as it is. Falkow has to give up sp advantage to use it and she doesn't have much field presence, making up for grimbaning 2 cards a bit. However Sumer and Fellana needs a nerf, that free grimbane + doll return is just so annoying and you can't counter it with a simple dragon breath (gowen is weakest against grimbane). Things like gowen warriors are doomed as it takes away Brave Strike (which is pretty much the reason to play them instead of things like martial artists) aswell as their other endgame grims, and you have to kill MD augment about 8 times (while it laughs at your Light Heierrat Fighter who is worse in pretty much every way and has much less subtype synergy) .

Have you ever actually used this card, yourself? Or are you just annoyed it's good against one of your files?

The gowen warriors are just a specific example, I've faced it with multiple files and I've also watched it being played against others. Regardless it's still obvious powercreep on other grimbaners including talisman mystic though.

Who plays that in gowen warrior? I doubt that has anything to do with gowen warriors and i seriously doubt gowen warriors have anything decent in their theme to surpass the mystic ... probably he missworded his post and meant to say something else.


Also Sumer & Fellana is multisphere! MULTISPHERE ARE SUPPOSED TO NOT SUCK! It's supposed to be slightly better and actually worth going through all the trouble of multisphering.
Tali mystic can also be played a lot earlier. Thus that is a totally BAD comparison.

Except that multisphering is no trouble at all anymore, especially if it's only to lvl 2 or 3. Those few lvls opens a whole range of possibilities and synergization, all for the cost of a single lvl 1 unit. The only risk you run are sphere drainers like Fierte, which are essentially a variation of sp drainers.
