What's up with the lack of complaints about MD Aug/OD spam

It all depends on how you play, your opponent and luck.

Just have fun and don't get too frustrated about little things.

Forced? Or more like: it's the best thing they have. Set 11 isn't anything special aside from a few noteworthy cards. They are, in no particular order:

Lawtia:
Chaos Form Annarose (already nerfed)
MD augment (fine on her own)
Overdose (only on MD augment and maybe Zu), and only once you start spamming.

Falkow:
Jewel of the deep sea (esp /w mediator SS)
Mermaid Harpist (the nerf should have been that it can't self-target so you couldn't cycle into infinity).

Refess:
Miffyre (completely unprecedented as far as the power of SP generators go)
Phoenix chick (also undeniably setting a record for powerful)
Verlaat (because Bringer wasn't good enough--now you can have a Bringer in the sphere with the best SP gen that gives mondo buffs).

Gowen:
Nothing noteworthy.

It's just that when you consider starters+prebuilts, well, if you have a playset of Guardian (Judie's luxury), you can throw together a decent mid refess and stomp a crapton of people.

Well hey, I play on AA's account now, so I can run practically any file, and the only thing it's taught me is that even with nearly all the cards (why did he not get Rivarre?! That SS is amazing with Bule >.<), 25 slots is still 25 slots and you just can't build a file to compete in every match. Also, I have a bias against Refess because games involving Refess just take forever to play because of the way each and every buff and action skill needs its own 5 seconds, and Refess just has a zillion of those.
