Oh, and anyone who depends on pixy aquamancer to win games is just a bad player. That thing is far too random to actually bail you out of tough spots.
Yes. Let's all pretend the silver star isn't really there.
Big freaking deal, silver star. 10 wins vs. all the randoms around isn't a given or negligible, but it's not the end of the world either, especially with file switching.
Anyway, to rerail this topic:
The issue with Phoenix chick is that it has unlimited card staying power with no real preconditions. Lycans need a nightmaker. Undeads need PoM. Dilate needs your opponent to be an imbecile and not use max HP hate. Phoenix chick? If your opponent isn't swarming you, then you have a unit that's just going to stay put forever. Heck, in mid refess, you don't even need 3 copies of this thing. Two will do just fine, because you don't even need to play it unless your opponent is heavily dependent on some sort of single-basket heavy damage strategy (lots of Gowen stuff, TJC, bigs).
Honestly, I've lost games just by virtue of running out of LP while the bird was still alive and am pretty confident that if LP wasn't an issue, that the chick would have at the least stalled out an opponent.
And honestly, the fact that its damage is low is sort of immaterial. First of all, 30 damage
across a field isn't low. To put it into perspective, Falkow's grim "tempest" is a level 5 that subtracts 30 from
everything, not just your opponent. To have a one-sided tempest and give a tank a second life...should that
really only be 1 SP?
Same deal with Raste's action skill for that matter...Like The Hand of God...just 2 SP on him? Did I miss something here?
