It seems Gon has a greater impact on some forums readers than he realises, or would like to admit. I find it funny that he is insulted by this thread when he has done the same to others - recently.

This thread amuses me.

Feel the love.

It's very common for people to dislike each other in game communities. What I don't understand is why some people think it's acceptable behavior to flame those they dislike in every thread every chance they get.

Wouldn't surprise me for things to be done wrong. They've been done wrong in the past and things continue to be wrong as long as gon isn't banned. That's a minimum of duty that should be recognized as an emergency.

Also i firmly believe it's completely appropriate to flame gon in every thread he posts. He needs to get the hell out of the forums for good, or at least until he switches back to the other gon that is completely the opposite of this idiot (which probably won't happen in case the old gon gave his account away). I still have the feeling this is a different person, one that deserves every insult he gets. Even if it's the same person, anyone with common sense can't agree with him remaining here any longer.

And the only thing that can properly escort this gon to the exit, is a ban.

You know, can we just try laying off of Gon? Reminds me of the time I was the center of attention, and ever since I got forced off for craptastic reasons and only come back now (well, with a staying presence), it seems someone had to become the new hate magnet.

How about just not having a hate magnet? Yes, Gon may come off as arrogant sometimes, but then again, he *is* in a PhD program (not a top-tier one, I suppose, but getting accepted anywhere for a PhD is no small feat), and has access to Alteil's data (even if he may not know what the heck to do with it at all).

Frankly, I suppose I'd have a better idea of what to do with it, but that's just me and my stats/machine learning knowledge =).

Also, @ Pera: there's a foe button for a reason.

Yes. Attached this culprit to my foe list. But his bickering posts are still there in a minimized form.

And hm, from what i can remember i can still classify you only as a former spammer (there were plenty more aside from just 1 all the time, it's just that your posts were longer), whereas gon needs to be evacuated by force from the forums.

My credentials are really irrelevant. Also, I don't have access to the data, I just occasionally see what Logress shows us. I probably do come off as arrogant sometimes, but I'm not sure "disliking somebody" is justification of a ban. If you start banning people based off personality types you're walking a real dangerous path.

You're on the testing team FFS. Are we really supposed to think that a guy who majored in English with a minor in compsci really has the data analysis skills to understand what's balanced as told by the data?
