Ex mermaid and friends

So I realized that the mermaid is a Mage Soldier and it's skills didn't really seem to benefit a real mermaid deck totally. So I plucked her out of my mermaid file went to use the default Ryu pew pew file and came up with this.
Now the file is almost ready I suppose just need the critics opinion now and it should be ready to go.

I'm not too sure if I should ditch the returns and put some Gowen grims in but feel free to do it.(It may be because of me playing Falkow forever but kinda not comfortable with playing Gowen grims as of yet)
The 3rd and 4th ss's(Can also be Verlaat or Library lady) can be left up to you but this build relies on the synergy between certain units and having them on the field for more than normal time is beneficial.

It might not be the most competitive but it really is fun.

I would ditch one multisphere damage grim for Return and drop Owl and open with something else. Change first SS to +2 SP. Add Salamanders if possible (first thing I'd drop is Pixy and both multisphere damage grim).

Ditch Owl for Jewel so you can go Jewel->Mermaid observer->Ryu, stick a +2 sp soul in the first slot, ditch aquamancer for Salamander.

Nice ideas, will give them a go.
-Just a FYI I don't open with owl I go 3 Fal 1 Gowen and then use mermaid at the beginning :p
