Falkow Pike

Postby Peralisc9001 » Fri Dec 07, 2012 12:52 pm

So i see lots of mage soldier decks and some times other kinds of gowen-falkow decks. Obviously they pack grims like fire arrows and returns, but there is one thing i don't get, why don't the dilate + mage soldier decks which rely mostly on falkow units pack falkow pike?

Falkow pike is 1 SP less than fire arrow, also it does collateral damage to the units on same column as your target. It's damn easy to reach 60 damage.

Even if you don't play gowen at all, i believe falkow pike is like a super strong grim that is worth splashing. Very often falkow decks just swarm their field. Why not quit complaining that return is too weak (it's the opposite actually, super OP) and pack some falkow pike in there if you want the damage?

Such a good grim simply ignored ... sigh.

If you have super dilate i find it unlikely to not have pike.

maybe because they play it gowen like and don't necessary go for field?

But yes falkow pike is a real good grim and underplayed also because most agressive oriented falkow files do not perform that well/ not trendy enough. (but something like mermaids or maybe also a lvl2 falkow rush performs quiet well)

No it works well. A few months ago I tried running a WK file that spammed falkow pike and I beat some BKR meta abusers at the time.

File space. I suggested it in chat, looked at my file, figured i'd rather keep my return and elemental burst and didn't put in pocky.

Well, I am that guy with 1 super dilate but no falkow pike...
One of my file actually writes "-pocky"

But true, its a good grim that haven't showed up for a while.
Mentioning that, where has belus gone, haven't seem him for a while either.
Ah... Everything's about MONEY, now that makes much more sense...
