I have already survived around 12 "Armageddons" and I am looking forward to the next, so they can find something else to get silly with.

For those unaware, in spite of all their superhuman and advanced knowledge, the Mayans were not aware of leap years. When you add up all of the leap years we have had since their calendar has been running (those days DID happen), then you find the Mayan calendar ran out last year.

Damn... we missed it.

Also the sun is supposed to be aligned with the center of the galaxy this year.

Seen somewhere we are supposed to have 3 eclipses this year:
we had venus passing in front of the sun
a moon eclipse dunno where on this world
and not sometime this year (i guess it's 21st dec, seriously forgot the date) we get the center of galaxy eclipse, wonder if that will look any bit interesting
