You all asked for lower prices per card and a way for newbies to spend a small amount of cash to get a deck of low-rarity cards. I figured an auction house would help move towards that request.
In order to add the auction house without breaking the game we'll need to re-work a couple things first. The biggest prerequisite in making an auction house viable is increasing the worth of fight money. For example, a Beginners Pack would cost either 500G or 500FM.
This means the whole reward system would have to be revamped. The old FM rewards would be killed and the gran rewards would be replaced with FM rewards. For example, winning a battle would give a FM reward instead of a gran reward. Newbies would be given FM for completing a tutorial instead of gran.
Gran would only be able to obtained via USD (and can be easily converted to FM).
Old fight money would be converted to point cards (rounded up).
The reason for this is simple - in order to make the auction house not break the game all virtual currency that goes through the auction house will have to have originated via USD. If we don't do this we open up exploits.
Example: User's main puts up a one star rarity card for 300 gran. User makes an alt and finishes the tutorial. User's alt purchase the card for well over its worth. User then makes a bot to automate this and get infinite gran.
Would anyone have a problem with this change so that we can make the auction house possible?
