also, if i ever i miss the start, which in my case is pretty likely, i won't make waves by being late and things move on as normal.

OK but they are expected to be able to commit that time in the event a participant does not show up, so it's not any less of a commitment. An alt that shows up and doesn't participate when required due to a shortage of participants is also wasting his time...you don't get point cards for showing up and then not playing when you're supposed to.

I just don't get the logic.

Well Rom, so far alts have a better % of showing up than non-alts. Gabo has been early every time. I guess some people prefer watching matches than fighting. I know I am one of those people.
I'm just glad for people in general, and I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
