Pros:
Tournament Host Handled the signup and pre-tourney process well
Tournament Host had a good idea for the Tournament
Good recruitment and a reasonable premise on the tournament conditions.
Cons:
The rules were both too specific and too restrictive
The card limits was not about fun, it was about min-maxing
1. The cardpool was severely limited to even number of copies (only 2 kurinas/alruanes allowed/1 mammoth?!/1squid?!) which had some file building backlash because eventually people were informed of the tougher restrictions on the copies allowed as opposed to the card type restriction (might be mindset from Icy's much less restrictive tourney).
2. The limited cardpool, although interesting, forced min-maxing that brought a significant amount of backlashing. A big part of a refeese strategy was to get safira out, lawt was all about undeads, falk was barely even present on the field... things like that are to be expected in a limited format but something this limited made it too common and thus annoying to me. (can't speak for others though)
Rating it 3.5/5 because everything is perfect other than the restrictions that is borderline "here's the best possible file you can make with these two spheres, do anything else and you're not min-maxing hard enough".
