Major Errata Incoming

Hello everyone,

I would like to officially announce that there is a major errata planned for release in the near future. The focus this time is on nerfing some key frustrating cards and significant buffs for underused and weak Refess, Gowen, and Falkow cards (mostly from sets 1-2). A few Lawtia cards have been worked on, but there are significantly fewer items on that list. We believe that Lawtia is in a pretty damn good spot in terms of balance and fun.

Some highlights you can look forward to:
Nerfs:
Gaiessoul
Overdose
Carbuncles
Exploder Wizard SS
Talisman of Disruption
EX Mermaid Soldier
AGI=3 soul skills
Unknown One / Sungod's soul skill
Princess of the Key / Emana

Most of the above are pretty obvious and intuitive to most experience Folart players, so I'll explain the oddity (Talisman). Undead dedicated files use to have major use for Lawtia's numbers and since Set 11's release we've seen them take a huge hit in their overall use and win rate. I suspect that has mostly to do with the rise of Mid Refess and Super Verlaat. Talisman in general feels too alienating against a key subtype for Lawtia so we've decided to make it a bit less extreme.

Buffs (with a couple examples):
Deep Ones and Mermaids (Carriers of Love and Friendship)
Mercenary Nation (Broadsword and Light Fighter)
Underperforming and underused Solar Kingdom units (Folrart Hammer Soldier, Folrart Shield Knight)
Dated and weak rares (Zagar, Proposition)

I know you use soon for technical purposes, but will we be realistically seeing this by the end of the month or later? I also heard in chat that underdog was being updated/ reworked to some degree early march. I mainly ask because of the effects these may cause for some of the community tournaments.

Errata Related: Are any of the old Ex cards being updated? Most of them are near useless and heavily underpowered 10-12 sets after release.

Some old EX cards are being touched up on yes. I have no idea what the status is for underdog's upgrade/fix, that's not my area sorry.

You can definitely expect this errata to be in place before the end of this month.

It's my understanding there will be a errata pack (maybe box?) promotion so you have a significantly higher chance of netting any buffed cards.

I'm curious about the Talisman of Disruption change. Will it still be an undead hate card with a less drastic effect, or will it be modified to be more general purpose?

Talisman will still be an undead hate card, it will just not be as extreme as it used to be.

I knew you'd make up for the secret Lost One nerf somehow Rom. I'm also excited about mercenaries.

Will that be for every card ever to receive an errata or just cards in the upcoming.
