I don't understand this one:
Mermaid Soldier [Human]: Numbing Slash 1SP -> 0SP and changed to: Engage friendly disengaged subtype mermaid. then, do damage AT to a random row of enemy units in range, all units hit of agi 0 or lower get DF=0.
Was the idea behind it to just give it a slash that forces you to engage a friendly instead of paying SP? Because that's a really tough triple condition. Not only do you need a slower mermaid on the field, but in order to take away the DEF for a guy, not only does their AGI need to be 0 or less, but if they have 20+ defense then your slash did nothing. I mean I would understand if it pierced, but really, when will the DF = 0 ever be useful?
Princess of the Key / Emana: Start skill only affects units of AGI 2 or higher
Specifically to make the other Emana's new ability activated once every never?
New Magic Doll / Astaforse and Night Singer / Miandela soul skills now have a -SP at the beginning of next turn attached to their effects.
Because these were played so much, and broke the meta, especially when it whiffed (or hit your own guy).

I just don't understand the thought process behind a lot of these changes. Most of the "buffs" on older cards will have 0 impact on the game. "Buffs".
However, I say some kind of Sungod soul nerf was necessary. I don't know if it will change much for the files that really want to abuse it. A lot of the time it still says "Well, I win the game!"
Edit: I also don't understand why EX: mermaid was nerfed in that way. Now it's unplayable for a lot of other files. And let's not pretend that any deck that couldn't beat EX: mermaid could beat any other falkow file that didn't run it, because they can't. Way to encourage people to go out and buy your EX products, by giving it the nerfbat 2 months later.
