Used the 300g I saved up:

1*:30

Recycled 26: 130g

1*:12
2*:1

Kept getting 1 and 2* till I got 20g left and then when all hope was lost I got:

1*:1
5*:1 (Aliria, uber happy with this one. My 1st copy!)

Never pull random, small amounts. Save your Gran as much as possible, and do 99-card Lotto pulls. If the temptation is too much to resist, go for 30 card pulls at the very least.

Lost my notes a while ago, but definitely remember this bit of info very well. For some reason, getting several poor results in multiple 10/20 card pulls is very common. With larger pulls your chance of getting multiple valuable cards is much better.

Just did a 99 card pull, got 3 EX cards (Fomuna, Yuni and Amazon) and three 3*. The one I did yesterday (also a 99 pull) had Bride Eskatia, new Yuni and five 4*, and don't remember the 3* ones.

This lotto is a blessing. No Grimoires plus EX cards is very good IMO.

There's way too much variety to get from pulls. You get used to it. I… I don't even see the names. All I see is 5 gran, 30 gran, 10 gran.
Hey, you, uh… wanna play?

To provide some data to my previous claims:

Single 99-card pull

EX: Gospel, Balzelda.
5*: None.
4*: New Noze.
3*: Belfyna, Messala, Pirate Princess.
2*: 11 cards.
1*: 82 cards.

Recycle value: 820 Gran.

Ten 10-card pulls

1st - 3*: 1 card, 2*: 1 card, 1*: 8 cards.
2nd - 2*: 3 cards, 1*: 7 cards.
3rd - 2*: 3 cards, 1*: 7 cards.
4th - 2*: 1 card, 1*: 9 cards.
5th - 2*: 2 cards, 1*: 8 cards.
6th - 1*: 10 cards (worst case scenario).
7th - 2*: 2 cards, 1*: 8 cards.
8th - 3*: 2 cards, 2*: 1 card, 1*: 7 cards.
9th - 2*: 1 card, 1*: 9 cards.
10th - 3*: 1 card, 2*: 1 card, 1*: 8 cards.

Balance: No EX, no 5*, no 4*, four 3*, fifteen 2*, the rest are recycle fodder (91 to be precise).
Recycle Value: 695 Gran.

The point being, small card pulls are not economically efficient.

TL;DR
Save your Gran and aim for 99-card pulls. Leftover Gran should be kept till those are available.

and Exiled Miltary Aide is male. This is the only time where I'm in favor of traditional gender roles.

Both your sets of pulls were similar although first set slightly better.

99 pulls 82% reycle rate

10 pulls of 10 70% recyle rate.

The variation in result could just be due to random chance as the difference is only 12%.

edit: but I guess you have a point.

While my game is not as good as I would like, I know the Alteil shop inside-out.

Trust me, smaller pulls are not efficient.

Buying cards one at a time with 300G = 66% recycle.

Buying 20 Cards all at once = 51% recycle.

It depends on the timing. Mass buys can be amazing or terrible. It boils down to how much time you want to spend playing lotto and what your tolerance for risk is. Single pulls would be more conservative and I think better if you're not going to spend thousands of gran.

It's also a bad lotto in both recycle rate and targeting. I've done several attempts on dummy accounts and never once got anything worth noting. Also, lucky iczer list is very static which may mean that five stars rarely pay out.
