I'm not convinced. Against current alteil rates it looks like excellent value but I think that says more about how poor the current system is than anything.

A new business model is in the works, this includes the "Horizons" project which will make it much easier to new players and veterans alike to collect tournament legal cards.

Kickstarter only accepts amazon payment methods... amazon payment methods are all creditcards.

This locks out ALOT of other users: I'm from europe, and i use iDeal payment methods. Safe and without buying 'from borrowed credit'. Paypall is a long way around but can work too for me.
But let me tell you right now it's stupid to limit on the number of participants (on certain kickstart options), and then launch with only creditcard options. If the E95,- option turns out to be "sold out" the time i can use it I WILL NOT PARTICIPATE. As much as i like this game I will not settle for higher costing options to get those playsets. And lower costing options like the E80,- feel like a significant drop in value, leaving me without playsets of certain cards... I'll end up donating E1,- and stop caring about getting playable ex cards all together.

Way too many words meaning too much details so not interested in this. Great time to jump off this game. Yeah.

I, myself, will put in $20. I will like to see this game go somewhere. I honestly think it is a great opportunity for this game to shine. I love this game, but the cost for a set of decent cards are too high. FM does nothing, point cards are WAY too hard to collect, UD is still not good? And the low amount of players is killing me. (Return tactics also kills me =( )

Think it's coming down (or becoming easier), judging by what they've been saying.

It's getting a value in horizons apparently.

Let's hope the kickstarter succeeds and the PR blitz works well then shall we?

I do hope they fix UD too...and maybe change the PC model a bit... :?

Looks like the best deal for hardcore players like myself and others is the $95 one. It's selling out fast and I think it may have been wise to have had at least double of these as everyone wants those exclusive cards. Pledges have been going well considering the amount of time it's been available, but I wonder if things will slow down soon.
