EPS Issues

EPS has been having some issues, and it doesn't look like it'll be fixed tonight.  You can go to paypal, and on the left they'll be an option to pay with a credit card without having a paypal account.  For those who don't want to do that, we'll have another short rarity up event in the next few weeks to make up for it.

With Lupos at E3, we haven't been able to get the magical preview page and trailer done ahead of time, but for those of you  not on the mailing list, SET 7 is launching Monday (trailer and new page will be up that afternoon).  And, with a new set there is an RP RESET, which means this set's RP goes into the hall of fame, and everyone gets reset back to 1500.  Note you will KEEP your MAX RP forever.

In a first ever for us, a tournament has been so popular that the host is running it again the very next weekend!  Peralisc 2 is running another TEAM TOURNAMENT, and this time it's with STARTER CARDS ONLY.  Teams are chosen for you, so anyone can join!  This is an excellent opportunity for a free or beginning player to be able to go toe to toe with the big boys. Also, you can learn a lot from watching a top player duel with starter cards. This is a great chance to take your game to the next level!

The tournament is on Saturday the 19th at 9 AM EST.  You can read all about it and sign up on the forum thread here.

And the WINNER IS....

Lupos at E3, Ranking Post Doomed
Written by Logress

With Lupos off frolicking at E3 the Ranking Post is pretty much doomed to be not-funny.  And by frolicking, I mean a 6 foot 3, broad-shouldered adult man skipping through fields of daisies, except all the daises have those new slim X-boxes instead of flowers.

Hmm... tough crowd.  I have a better idea, instead of thinking about Lupos, and all the fun and awesome things he is doing at E3 without me, I mean US... let's talk about rankings.  As always, anyone who dueled outside of Single Player and the Training Arenas got 10 Gran, more if you got a lot of wins.  Here are some of the hightlights:

1      worthing
2     Xideru
3     Whire3
4     u8920017
5     FisherChew

 1    台灣義和團
 2    The Seraphim Mafia
 3    ~mortem masters~
4   Order of the Black Knights
 5    Royal Flush

Flag Day 5 of 7 is over

It looks like this might be our biggest turnout for a 5 of 7 so far.  However, Lupos is off at E3, and I can't make heads or tails of the admin tools he's built for himself, so I can't figure out how to give out the prizes.  I'll have to wait until I get a hold of him, hopefully first thing tomorrow.

In one of our more successful Community Tournaments, MC Peralisc2 rolled out a 2 versus 2 team tournament, with random teams that became permenant near the end of the day.  Attendance was very good, and if you're considering entering a Community tournament, remember that there's now a Participation Prize of 2 Point Cards, for everyone who shows up and plays!

Arakis' Quest - The Level 1 Quest: RESULTS
Written by Arakis

A number of unusual things happened with this Quest.  Level 1 cards are among the most accessible cards in the game, but there are only so many of them in existence at this point.  For that reason, there was an unprecedented degree of homogeneity amongst the entries.  There were 35 of them, which was nearly a new record, but they all tended to follow just a few select blends of strategy.  The upside of this was, it was easier than ever for newcomers and those who have never won anything to make it to the finals.
