Yeah that statement kind of sums it up. Get to playing. A little clarity may be in order though. You must play at least once on five separate days. So playing at least once on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday qualifies for the prize. Playing only five times on Monday does not.
Remember, Forever Halloween runs from Monday the 12th to Sunday the 18th, midnight to midnight. The Drawing will be on Monday the 19th. ALSO, our Costume and Pumpkin Carving Contest ends on the 20th. 8 more days to get your costume in order. Hop to it. |

The "Five of Seven" contest we did last week ended up requiring some custom code to compile the winners... and it took us long enough to make that we want to re-use it. That means we'll be having a lot more "Play 5 out of the 7 days and get some free stuff" contests! Forever Halloween: runs from Monday the 12th to Sunday the 18th, midnight to midnight. Play a 10+ round duel in the Arenas (no Training, no NPC) every day for 5 of 7 days. Forever Halloween is simple, everyone who plays 5 out of 7 days will get 5 Point Cards, and be entered to win the Grand Prize, which is one copy of each of last year's Halloween Seasonal Cards. That's Lycanthrope Seraph, Devouring Lizard, Black Cat Fellana and Dark Emperor Zu-Jyuva. There will be FOUR grand prize winners chosen at random from all the qualifying players! The Drawing will be on Monday the 19th. |

Our esteemed partner, Asiasoft, will be hosting a live tournament in Singapore tomorrow 1:30 PM, which I believe is 1:30 AM EST. Unfortunately you actually have to be there physically to play, but matches will be held in training so you can at least go and watch. Hopefully this will be a regular event to drum up support and interest in Singapore! If you're around, drop in to Training! |

Starting Friday, the 9th, through Monday, the 12th of October, we will be having a Seasonal Card Lottery! Why is this the biggest ever? Well, first of all it's four days, which is the longest we've had one up. Second, is we're adding two whole seasons of cards in, Spring and Summer, making it the most new cards and the most cards ever in a Seasonal Lottery. But more importantly, what makes this seasonal event so good is that four of the new cards are MUST HAVE cards, I'm talking about Guardian, Kurina, Renally, and Girl Specter! Just kidding, that Girl Specter joke never gets old... anyway Meaning of Failure is there too. Lawtia will have to console itself with the number of favorite older Lawtia cards making re-appearences, like Annarose and a certain three headed dragon. For those of you who haven't been here for one of our seasonal events or sales, we periodically replace card art for certain cards during our seasonal events. One might recall Halloween last year, and the possibility of a new Halloween event in the very near future, for example. After a seasonal event, the new card art disappears. However, we periodically have Seasonal Card SALES, where you play a small lottery to for permanent versions of the seasonal cards. This is the only chance to get this unique art, but on top of that, since the pool of seasonal cards is very small, if you happen to want a card that has a seasonal version, your chances of getting it will be much higher than usual. So Guardian is Rarity 1, normally the lottery has like 5 Sets of Rarity 1 cards. But the Seasonal Lottery has more like 5 of them. So if you play the Seasonal Lot, chances are you'll get piles of them. If you happen to WANT a few Guardians, Friday could be a very good day for you. Note: Fairy Dance will not have a seasonal card, because the alternate art we used last Spring was really a preview of the card Fairy Heroine / Mitzitt, and not a seasonal card. For reference, here is the list of seasonal cards available: Archer Scout Sorcerer Guard Saber Saint / Lapierre Magic Doll Black Cat / Fellana Lycanthrope [Seraph] Dark Emperor / Zu-jyuva Devouring Lizard Lion Baron / Zagar Chaoslady / Annarose Magic Sword Dual-Wielder Djinn Bellydancer / Kurina Folrart Guardian Girl Spectre Guard Leader / Renally Realm Guardian / Mayleen Black Dragonrider / Millia Meaning of Failure

Okay, by now you should all have your prizes from the School Spirits contest. If there's a problem, PM Lupos in the forums. Also, if you suddenly have extra cards, this could be the reason. |

We probably should of saved the Van Halen references for this seeing as Zombieland has one of their songs prominently featured. Well Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls is also featured in the opening credits. So maybe we should have went with For Whom the Rank Tolls. But we didn't, did we? Hindsight is 20/20 and it's hosted by John Stossel (ask your parents... or grandparents). Hmmm... I suppose there should be a word of wisdom for all our Alteil players. Something maybe about how you should never play Alteil in a bathroom or how you should always have an extra escape plan. All of these things are important during a zombie apocalyp... errr we mean a round of Alteil. As
always, anyone who survived the zombie onslaught AND fought in
the arena at least once this week
