As you know, Friday we will be sending out mass mails and PR releases, as well as starting up a batch of events. This is kind of our pre-release time. Today, we’re turning on the Cashier ahead of time – figured I’d get it out of the way now if there is some kind of infinite gran bug… (leaps to avoid trampling).
To show our dedication to making improvements both big and small, we've added a support system where users can report bugs. And to make people feel happy when spotting a bug (always better than mad or sad) we will be offering rewards to the first Iczer to report a bug. You can hit the Support or Report a Bug buttons in the My iczer tab, or just go here.
We now give rewards to the first person to report a bug. Rewards for bugs already submitted will be applied retroactively. And here is the list...
Welcome everyone, to the Apocoplay (that’s the name of my
our company) Alteil Pre-Release. In two
weeks we’ll have a big release (after you guinea pigs… er, honored Iczers have
found any remaining bugs), with events and ads and a mass mail and hopefully a
little press. But for now, we’re turning
the game on and letting our loyal forum-ites, and regulars, and Iczers who come
back and check on us every now and then for the heck of it… all log on and run
rampant!
As a special gift to all those who stuuck with us, GGG managed to make an avatar with ONE HAND while holding the baby in the other. It's Chaos Annarose, and her white whip-blade looking thing. They will be in the shop for FREE for the next two weeks!
First of all, as of now, August 1st, the rights
to Alteil has reverted back to its original developers – a company called Core
Edge. They were a small online gaming
company founded by fans of gaming that was acquired, merged and passed around
until they ended up as a part of monolithic gaming company Gamepot. Recently, Core Edge was re-formed with its
original staff, and now they once again have Alteil, so the fate of Alteil JP
and Alteil US is
in their hands.
There’s a lot more to the story, and the details on the
future of Alteil US
are coming soon. However, GGG and I had
our August 1st Alteil-related plans delayed due to another big
launch we had to manage…

AM EST, a healthy baby boy was born to GaoGaiGirl and Logress. His GM name will be Lil’ Bringer, mostly
because he has such a powerful Open Skill.
(I guess you had to be there… no, no wait… it’s probably best that you
weren’t).
A big thanks to all our supporters, friends and
well-wishers. We’ll be back on track with Alteil soon, but right now we just
spent a lot of SP getting this little guy on the field. (Mental note, next time put an Owl Sage in
the Labor Overnight Bag.)
